Acquisition and Disposal of Property
We provide a service that facilitates an acquisition from the identification of property right through to the Settlement. This brings expertise within negotiations, Due Diligence and Planning Requirements needed by our clients.
We also provide advice on the disposals of property. From the preparation of property, selecting the right agency for the job, type of marketing required and the best form of sales process to optimise the best price for your property.
Asset and Facilities Management
Asset and facilities management is an area that is underestimated within the value of your portfolio. SGL are experienced in adding that value to your property and/or portfolio through the right proactive management of your assets. SGL can advise on lease negotiations, reviews, renewals and ‘make good’ problems that the majority of landlords face. We also have the connections to provide facilities management and services required when maintaining your portfolio.
Development and Project Management
SGL provide their clients with the experience in finding opportunities to add value to their properties and portfolio. We have the knowledge and contacts to offer expansive design and feasibility studies within the market. SGL can also provide Development & Project Management for both ‘Green Field’ developments and ‘Brown Field’ renovations and extensions.

MEET THE TEAM
Ulrik, a specialist within the fuel industry in New Zealand and Australia, brings over 19 years of experience within the commercial property industry from his time at Gull as Chief Operating Officer. He played a key role in the transformation of Gull from 3 fledgling outlets owned by the Rae family in 1999 into New Zealand’s largest independent fuel retailer with 80 sites at the end of 2017.
His experience and knowledge covers all aspects from strategic retail growth, client and project management, marketing strategies, site development as well as asset management.
Hayden brings over 20 years of experience within the commercial sector of Real Estate spreading across all main sectors of the market including agency, valuation, management and development. Hayden’s previous role managed a portfolio of property for Augusta Funds Management that was worth over $1.6 Billion.
Prior to this, Hayden studied Property at Massey University which lead him to a position at a Commercial and Industrial Agency leasing and selling property across Auckland. With his expertise he brings knowledge across both the New Zealand and Australian property market where he was MD of CBRE, in Melbourne for many years.
Senior Asset and Property Manager
With over 8 years in management, Hamish has worked extensively across the commercial, industrial, retail and residential sectors of Real Estate.
Prior to joining Scarborough Group, Hamish managed a portfolio worth c.$400 million on behalf of Augusta Funds Management, including their core Industrial Fund assets and key retail centres.
Hamish brings a pragmatic approach to asset management and a strong ambassador of innovation and health & safety within the industry. Hamish was recognised by PINZ as the 2019 Runner up Young Property Manager of the Year and recipient of the Innovation Award within the management sector.
Niri has 10 years experience as an Accounting and Finance Specialist in the Construction Industry. Niri has a wide range of experience from commercial to residential development and now property management.
She has spent time overseas as well managed several teams, both experiences have allowed her to develop people management skills and makes her friendly and approachable.
With a bachelor of business majoring in finance and accounting from AUT her practical and commercial knowledge coupled with people skills makes her a valued member at Scarborough Group.
